Fabrizio Romano thinks there is a “good chance” that three players leave Man Utd on loan this summer while he provides the latest on Alejandro Garnacho’s future.

Numerous big names have already left the Red Devils this summer with Paul Pogba, Juan Mata, Jesse Lingard, Nemanja Matic and Edinson Cavani all leaving.

Tyrell Malacia, Christian Eriksen and Lisandro Martinez are the only incomings so far this summer but numerous players, such as Frenkie de Jong, continue to be linked.

But Man Utd could be set for more outgoings as Romano reckons Ten Hag will continue to trim his squad by allowing youngsters Tahith Chong, Facundo Pellistri, and Amad Diallo leave on loan again this summer.

Romano told Caught Offside: “I believe there’s a good chance Tahith Chong, Facundo Pellistri, and Amad Diallo will all go on loan this summer.”

Chong spent last season on loan at Birmingham City but his spell there was hampered by a serious thigh injury, Pellistri was at Alaves last season and Diallo score three times in 12 matches at Rangers.

Unlike those three, Alejandro Garnacho remained at Man Utd last season, made two appearances for the first team, and helped the club win the FA Youth Cup.

And there has been talk about whether Ten Hag will loan him out or not this season and Romano claims there is a “meeting scheduled” to sort out his future.

Romano added: “There is a meeting scheduled between Garnacho’s agent and Manchester United in the coming weeks.

“[…] This meeting will be to decide what’s best for Garnacho’s future, in terms of staying at the club or being sent out on loan. Manchester United are set to offer him a new contract, but he needs to play football.”

Cristiano Ronaldo has asked to leave Man Utd this summer but there seems to be a lack of interest in services this summer and Romano also recently delivered an update on the Portugal international.

Romano said: “Cristiano Ronaldo and his agent Jorge Mendes reiterated with Erik ten Hag that he would like to leave the club. Mendes will continue to push for Ronaldo to join the likes of Bayern Munich and Atletico Madrid, despite both clubs turning him down publicly and privately.

“No clubs in Italy have made contact with Ronaldo so far. Chelsea have gone quiet after Thomas Tuchel rejected the opportunity to sign him.

“The signals from Ronaldo are clear – he wants a move to a European club, I think a move to the MLS or Middle East can only be an emergency solution.”
