Sagna urges Arsenal target to stay at Man City as he makes Champions League claim
Bacary Sagna believes Gabriel Jesus should stay at Manchester City amid Arsenal’s rumoured interest.
The Gunners are in the market for a new striker with Alexandre Lacazette and Eddie Nketiah out of contract at the end of this season.

Arsenal were reportedly told that Jesus would cost them £55m – despite his contract expiring in a year’s time.
The north Londoners are understood to have ‘baulked’ at the asking price given his contract situation.
Jesus’ future at the Etihad is up in the air following City’s £51m signing of Borussia Dortmund superstar Erling Haaland.
Despite this, former Arsenal and City right-back, Sagna, says Jesus should not move as the Citizens are “very close to winning the Champions League”.
“I believe he will stay at the club; I don’t see him playing anywhere else, he belongs to Manchester City,” Sagna said (quotes via Manchester Evening News).
“He can still have such a big impact at the club. He’s scored many goals, so he’s very important.
Manchester City have told Arsenal that the asking price for Gabriel Jesus is £55M. Arsenal have clarified that if they had £55M to spend on Jesus, they would've called God direct.

“The way he presses, the way he is tight with the ball, he’s a different style but he’s a key player still for Man City so I don’t see him leaving. I don’t see him performing for another team.
“I personally think he should stay because they are very close to winning the Champions League.”
Arsenal’s planned summer business could be derailed by their failure to qualify for next season’s Champions League.
Despite being in pole position to finish fourth for much of the second half of the season, Mikel Arteta’s side are now relying on Norwich beating Tottenham on Sunday if they are to finish inside the top four.
Another player they have been linked with is Leicester midfielder Youri Tielemans, who is reportedly eager to play in Europe’s premier competition after featuring in the Europa League and Europa Conference League with the Foxes.
Like Jesus, Tielemans is out of contract at the end of next season.
