Mo Salah has sent a message to Real Madrid ahead of their Champions League final clash against Liverpool after Carlo Ancelotti’s side came from behind to beat Manchester City on Wednesday night.

Los Blancos were heading out of the Champions League on Wednesday night until a stunning Rodrygo brace in injury time brought them level on aggregate with the Citizens.

Karim Benzema then wrapped up a semi-final win in extra time by converting a penalty after being fouled by City defender Ruben Dias inside the box.

Man City’s Real meltdown offers further proof that Kevin De Bruyne is overrated…

Real Madrid will now face Liverpool in the final on May 28 in a repeat of the 2018 Champions League final, which the Spanish side won 3-1.

Salah was injured in that match when he dislocated a shoulder in a tangle with former Real defender Sergio Ramos.

The Egyptian was upset with the challenge from the Spaniard, who locked arms with Salah as they fell to the ground, with the Liverpool star taking the brunt of the weight on his shoulder.

And following Real Madrid’s comeback victory against Man City on Wednesday, Salah simply tweeted: “We have a score to settle.”

And Liverpool legend Jamie Carragher reckons Salah will be wanting “revenge” for 2018 and “will be desperate to put that final to bed”.

“Mo Salah will want revenge, 100%. It was a massive blow for Salah himself,” Carragher said on CBS Sports.

“For him, he’d just come alive that season and everyone knew what he was about. He got over 40 goals and that was going to be his moment.

“Ramos definitely knew what he was doing. You talk about the dark arts of football and there’s probably nobody as bad. It’s part of football but he pushes it to the limit.

“Ramos won’t be involved but Mo Salah will be desperate to put that final to bed. To be honest, a lot of that team – I’m thinking of the midfield, I’m sure that night it was Modric, Kroos and Casemiro – I think that will be the midfield again.

“So even from Liverpool’s point of view there’s still a lot of players from that team – virtually the whole back four really, obviously not the goalkeeper.

“But Salah, Mane, Firmino will all be involved, Henderson and Milner too. There’s a lot of players from that Liverpool team still there.”
