Mohamed Salah has been named Liverpool’s player of the month for September, having won the same award in August.

Salah was voted the club’s best player of the month in poll of supporters, earning 41% of the vote. Philippe Coutinho finished second, on 23%.

The winger has scored six goals in 11 games for Liverpool since joining from Serie A, and scored against Sevilla, Burnley and Leicester in September.

The Egyptian was also given the club’s goal of the month award, for his headed finish against Leicester. That won 43% of the vote.

Salah also won that award in August, meaning he has won all four of the gongs handed out  this season. Not a bad start to life back in England.
