Signing Balotelli is the dream, says Chievo bigwig

Chievo’s president says that he dreams of signing Mario Balotelli, but believes a move will be difficult.
Balotelli has been told by Jurgen Klopp that he has no future at Liverpool, having failed to find any form since arriving from Milan.
The striker has been subject to reported interest from England, Italy and Turkey, but no serious bids have yet been made.
“Dreaming doesn’t cost anything,” said Chievo president Luca Campedelli.
“At the moment, it does remain a dream because we know that it would be very difficult to pull off such a move.
“We must take into account the obvious difficulties in economic terms, but it is something we are looking at.
“However, when you are coming up against the big clubs, then Chievo certainly can’t compete at that level.”
Balotelli is currently paid £80,000 a week at Liverpool, a salary that Chievo would be unable to come close to matching.
