Six clubs are reportedly interested in signing Jack Wilshere on a free transfer.
Wilshere had been considered likely to stay at Arsenal, signing a new contract, but appears to have made a U-turn on that decision.
That follows discussions with new manager Unai Emery in which Wilshere was told that he should not expect to be a key player next season.
Writing in the Daily Mirror, John Cross revealed that Wilshere has now decided to leave Arsenal, and that six clubs are interested in his services.
Wolves, West Ham and Everton are the Premier League teams interested in a free transfer signing – the interest from Manchester City evaporated pretty quickly. They are joined by three Serie A clubs: Sampdoria, Milan and Juventus.
Of that list, West Ham are the obvious option. They will pay high wages, will promise first-team football and mean Wilshere does not have to move outside of London.
