Inter Milan defender Milan Skriniar admits he is “proud” to be hear of interest from Manchester United but the Inter Milan defender is “very happy” to stay at the San Siro.
Reports last weekend suggested United had tabled a bid in the region of £57million for the 23-year-old centre-half.
But Inter are said to have rejected the offer and remain determined to keep the defender they recruited from Sampdoria a year ago.
Skriniar is also delighted to stay.
He told the Slovakian FA’s website: “I am happy and proud to have been linked with Manchester United, but I’m even happier that Inter has decided to refuse their offer and I am very happy to stay here. “
