Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has confirmed that Marcos Rojo and Sergio Romero are free to speak to other clubs and leave Manchester United this month.
The pair have just six months remaining on their United contracts and are free to leave on free transfers at the end of the season.
Both were keen on leaving the club in the summer but failed to secure moves but Solskjaer is willing to allow them to leave in January in order to collect what will likely be minimal fees.
“Both of them have contracts until the summer and they’re not going to be extended,” Solskjaer said.
“We’re looking for them to find clubs. Marcos has been given time to go home, so he’s still in Argentina.
“Sergio has been back home as well to see his family but they’re pros, working hard and ready if they call in for us. Marcos will have to travel and do the quarantine before.”
