Solskjaer explains decision over ‘Man Utd guy’ Pogba
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer says his decision to start Paul Pogba was more than justified after his performance in Manchester United’s 3-2 win over Sheffield United.
Pogba was handed his third straight Premier League start on Thursday, deployed alongside Nemanja Matic at the base of midfield.

The midfielder was heavily involved as United’s counter-attacking football tore the Blades apart.
And Solskjaer was asked about Pogba’s inclusion and his role in the victory.
“Yeah, we made a decision,” he said.
“Of course, we know his strength in the air as well, we knew he was going to be important for us on set plays and goal kicks and long kicks – and he won more or less every single header it seemed.
“And his vision and creativity of course we also want.
“So Paul’s responded really well to the work he’s been doing. He’s fit now and an excellent performance.
“He’s a Man United guy. He’s been at this club when he was a kid and came back again. This is his home. He gives his best for us in training and the games and today he was exceptional.”
