Solskjaer reveals whether United will make more signings
Manchester United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has provided an update on the club’s transfer plans as the summer window closes next week.
The Red Devils have brought in Jadon Sancho from Borussia Dortmund and Raphael Varane from Real Madrid already this summer as they aim to challenge for the Premier League title this season.
United have been rumoured to be chasing a new midfielder for months, most notably Rennes wonderkid Eduardo Camavinga.

However, Camavinga – alongside Wolves playmaker Ruben Neves and Atletico Madrid star Saul Niguez – have reportedly been ‘shelved’ by the Old Trafford club with Paul Pogba’s situation changing.
Pogba was linked with Paris Saint-Germain, but after their signing of Lionel Messi, his rumoured move to the French capital was called off.
The French pair have both entered the final year of their contracts, so their futures remain uncertain.
West Ham midfielder Declan Rice has also been linked with a move to United, with Camavinga’s transfer to Manchester now ‘unlikely’.
And in an interview with journalist Arilas Ould-Saada for Norwegian outlet VG, Solskjaer says he is “happy” with the club’s business so far this window.
“I don’t think much is going to happen. If something happens, it is a bonus,” he said.
“You never know what happens in the world of football. But we’ve had a very good window. I am happy with what we’ve done.”
Elsewhere, reported United target Noni Madueke has signed a new four-year deal with PSV Eindhoven.
Madueke is a talented 19-year-old who represents England U21 internationally.
He played for Crystal Palace and Tottenham as a youngster before joining PSV on a free transfer three years ago.
Over the weekend, reports emerged stating that United and Spurs chiefs had sent scouts to watch Madueke in action.
They were joined by officials from a number of European sides, including Bayern Munich and Juventus, as well as Leicester. It was also written that PSV’s asking price is £30-34million.
He has penned a new deal at the Philips Stadium which will keep him in the Eredivisie until June 2025.
