Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has not given up hope that Paul Pogba will remain a Manchester United player, according to reports in Spain.

There has been intense speculation about the 26-year-old’s Old Trafford happiness and Pogba recently admitted he was considering “a new challenge somewhere else”.

Real Madrid have a long-standing interest in Pogba and Juventus are interested in bringing back the France midfielder, three years after selling him to United for a then world-record fee of £89million.

Raiola claimed last week that he is already in the process of trying to move on the France international and that Solskjaer is aware of the player’s intention to depart.

And now AS (via Sport Witness) claims that Juve and Real still have the interest and capital to drive a deal to completion for Pogba.

The report adds that Solskjaer ‘will do everything possible’ to convince Pogba to change his mind and stay at United this season.

The manager is understood to want Pogba to lead his new project at United and thinks that the France international might stay if he can build a good atmosphere in camp.
