Sporting to report West Ham to FIFA after Carvalho emails
Leaked emails appear to prove that West Ham did indeed make a club-record offer for William Carvalho.
The Hammers failed in their bid to sign Carvalho from Sporting Lisbon before the summer transfer deadline.
West Ham insist they made bids for the Portugal midfielder, but Sporting claim no such offers were received.
The East London outfit have threatened to “commence legal proceedings” against Sporting after the Portuguese club’s communications director branded West Ham’s co-owner David Sullivan a “liar” and a “parasite”.
The situation has since become yet more complicated, with Sporting president Bruno de Carvalho branding the co-owners the “Dildo Brothers”.
West Ham have now leaked emails proving that offers were made for midfielder Carvalho, which included a clause for qualification to the Champions League.
