Tottenham have reportedly slapped a £150million price tag on Harry Kane, but he’s ‘not for sale’…

The Spurs talisman already has 21 goals this season but the Daily Mail claims Daniel Levy would listen to offers should suitors stump up a British record fee for the 27-year-old.

Why are the media trying to sell Harry Kane to Man United?

It would make Kane the third most expensive footballer of all time after PSG duo Kylian Mbappe and Neymar.

Kane’s current deal lasts until 2024 with his current wages at around £200,000 a week, a manageable amount for reported circling suitors Manchester United and Manchester City.

Pep Guardiola is on the lookout for a replacement for Sergio Aguero, while United are keen to find a reliable 20-goal a season striker.

The report in the Mail does however contradict itself completely…

After banging on about this £150million price tag, they then say: ‘Tottenham’s stance has always been that Kane is not for sale and that remains the case.’

Right. So rather than taking this news with a pinch of salt, grab a few handfuls…
