Three Premier League clubs want to sign Heung-min Son from Tottenham.
Son is at the World Cup with South Korea, and has netted their only goal in the tournament thus far in the 2-1 defeat to Mexico.
According to German publication SPORT1, the forward has ‘made himself aware of himself’ with his performances in Russia, and ‘wants to work on his hero status’.
The website claims in an exclusive that Arsenal, Liverpool and Manchester United are all interested in the 25-year-old, and could test Tottenham’s resolve with a bid.
Son himself even ‘wants to take the next step and can imagine a change’, apparently.
The article adds that United are ‘the most promising candidate’ as Tottenham are unlikely to sell to Arsenal and Liverpool’s interest is ‘not concrete’.
Son is under contract at Tottenham until 2020 and his deal contains no release clause, thus SPORT1 come to the appropriate conclusion that he ‘is accordingly expensive’. They say not even €70m would do it.
