Tottenham striker Harry Kane tops Barcelona’s shortlist of potential replacements for Luis Suarez, according to reports.
That form has caught the attention of some of Europe’s top clubs, including Barcelona, who are reportedly keeping tabs on Kane.
Spanish newspaper Mundo Deportivo claims that Barca want to sign the 25-year-old after they shortlisted him as a target.
Suarez turns 32 in January and the club are looking to the future by targeting some fresh talent to replace the ageing Uruguayan.
Barcelona are five points clear at the top of La Liga after 18 matches, however Ernesto Valverde isn’t resting on his laurels as he presses ahead with his summer transfer plans.
The huge finances involved in any deal for Kane means that Barcelona would have to wait until the summer to complete any transfer of that magnitude.
Timo Werner, Luka Jovic, Maxi Gomez, Kasper Dolberg and Krzysztof Piatek are other names that are thought to be under consideration.
