Spurs ‘in talks’ with Inter over deal for Mourinho favourite

Tottenham are reportedly in talks with Inter Milan over a loan deal for Ivan Perisic.
The Croatian helped Bayern Munich to the Champions League title while on loan at the Bundesliga giants last season but has since struggled for regular starts on his return to Serie A.

Perisic – whose current contract runs until June 2022 – is not typically a first-choice under Antonio Conte at the San Siro.
And Foot Mercato claim Jose Mourinho has ‘great interest’ in Perisic and negotiations between Spurs and Inter are underway.
The report says a number of clubs are interested in the 31-year-old but Spurs are throught to hold the advantage due to Mourinho’s persistent admiration.
The Portuguese boss was widely reported to have been keen to sign Perisic during his spell with Manchester United.
And Mourinho considers Perisic to be a good short-term option for Tottenham, to ease the attacking burden on Harry Kane and Son Heung-min.
