West Ham are the best team in the land – we have stats

West Ham celebration Said Benrahma

Prepare for the apocalypse because West Ham are the best team in the land. The league table shows it but so do the actual, real statistics.

If we’ve learned nothing else from football (and we haven’t) it’s that two games is more than enough time to make sweeping statements and judgements about anything and everything. Hell, one is fine.

We now know categorically, for instance, that Arsenal are bad. But we also know that West Ham are really good. Like, best-team-in-the-country-and-a-sure-sign-of-the-apocalypse good. And this isn’t just one of those “opinions” that everyone has and nobody cares about. This is backed up by stats. Real stats, important stats. Absolutely none of them presented here out of context or from a sample size so small as to render it all but irrelevant.

You simply cannot argue with these numbers. Well you can, but we won’t listen. West Ham are the best team in the Premier League and thus the whole world. Science, bitch.
