Daniel Sturridge has not travelled to Newcastle to complete a loan deal and is now expected to sign for West Brom.
Both clubs agreed a £1.5m loan fee with Liverpool but it seems the Liverpool striker has chosen the Baggies.
Newcastle were expecting Sturridge to travel north this lunchtime. He hasn’t.

According to Andy Hunter of The Guardian:
‘The out-of-favour Liverpool striker has attracted interest from several clubs in this window including Internazionale, Sevilla and Newcastle, but Albion are closest to securing his services on a temporary basis.’
The Liverpool striker has made only five Premier League starts this season, coming off the bench on another four occasions.
Jurgen Klopp was asked about the deal in his press conference on Monday and said: “A lot will happen in the transfer market in the next few days and we will see what happens here.
“If it was something that didn’t help us or Daniel or another club to make the deal, it makes no sense.”
