Szczesny to snub Juventus for Roma switch
Arsenal goalkeeper Wojciech Szczesny could snub Serie A winners and Champions League finalists Juventus in favour of staying with Roma.
The Pole has enjoyed two excellent seasons with Roma on loan from the Gunners but has been strongly linked with a move to Juventus, who reportedly see him as the long-term replacement for Gianluigi Buffon.
But Roma’s president James Palotta claims that Szczesny wants to remain in the Italian capital.

“I’ll say more, I was surprised by the fact some of the players I thought had wanted to leave came up to me before and after the final game to say they wanted to remain.
“It’s a sign we’ve got a good group, we just lack some depth and [Roma’s sporting director] Monchi will help us with that.”
