Former Aston Villa defender John Terry has compared Jack Grealish to Paul Gascoigne.
Terry left Villa at the end of last season, but was impressed by Grealish’s form during 2017/18.
He has backed Grealish to make it in the Premier League and also become an established England international.
And in an interview with the Daily Mail, Terry says that Grealish’s skill reminds him of Gazza.
“Jack will be a big, big player,” Terry said.
“I hope Villa can come up and he gets his chance in the Premier League that way. But I can see why Spurs wanted him.
“Right now he’s in the right place. I think he will become a top Premier League star and an England international.
“He reminds me of Gazza, with his balance and his skill, the way he receives the ball and drives at defenders.
“He is looking after himself off the pitch as well. He’s a great lad.”
