‘Top secret’ report claims Man Utd using Pogba, ‘weapons’ to sign player
Paul Pogba has spoken to Ousmane Dembele as Man Utd try to land the Barcelona winger this summer, according to reports.
Jadon Sancho has been consistently linked with a move to Man Utd, however that deal seems to have reached an impasse with the Red Devils now looking for alternative options in the transfer market.
One name that has emerged as a possible option is Dembele, who has struggled with injury issues at Barcelona following his €105m move from Borussia Dortmund in the summer of 2017.

Spanish publication AS claimed on Wednesday that the Red Devils are closing in on a €60m (£55m) deal for Dembele with Barcelona using those funds to land Memphis Depay, while Cadena Ser said there’s an ‘attempt being made’ to convince Dembele to move to Old Trafford.
And now a ‘Top Secret’ report in Spanish newspaper Mundo Deportivo (via Sport Witness) reckons that Man Utd are ‘using all their weapons’ as they look to bring Dembele to Manchester before Monday’s deadline.
Pogba has phoned his France international team-mate to ‘convince him’ that a transfer to Old Trafford would be the best move for him.
The 27-year-old reckons Dembele ‘can be decisive’ as Ole Gunnar Solskjaer looks to improve his squad with Pogba insisting that he can get regular football at Man Utd.
Barcelona are apparently only interested in letting Dembele go in a permanent deal while the Frenchman ‘already contemplates’ leaving the Spanish club.
The Catalan giants signed Dembele in a deal that could rise to €145m and the report adds that they only want half of that back, while a loan deal is ruled out.
