Torino confirm sale of defender Zappacosta to Chelsea

Defender Davide Zappacosta has joined Chelsea from Torino, the Italian club have confirmed on their official website.

A statement read: “Torino Football Club announces that it has definitively sold to Chelsea Football Club the right to athletic performance by football player Davide Zappacosta.”

How very formal.

“President Urbano Cairo wishes to thank Davide for the dedication that have always distinguished him in these years and all Torino FC wishes him satisfaction in the continuation of his career.”
