Ex-Spurs star Eriksen ‘couldn’t wait’ to move to ‘big team’ Inter

Former Tottenham star Christian Eriksen has opened up about his move to Inter Milan, describing the Series A side as a “big team”.

The fee is thought to be in the region of £17million and brings to an end a long drawn out transfer saga.

Eriksen will join a club managed by former Chelsea boss Antonio Conte and he has been speaking about his move to Inter TV.

 

 

He said: “I couldn’t wait to join, it’s wonderful to be here and I’m happy to be a new Inter player. I’m very excited and can’t wait to introduce myself to the fans. I’ve already experienced their warmth, it’s been a fantastic welcome. I feel great.

“The numbers say that I did really well in England. It’s now time to start a new challenge, I’m really happy to have the opportunity to play in Serie A for a big team. Inter is a fantastic club.”
