Conte joined Spurs in November, taking over from Nuno Espirito Santo. He inherited a side that was ninth in the Premier League at the time, but the Italian boss manged to turn it around and secure a top four finish.

Spurs capitalised on a collapse from north-London rivals Arsenal in the final few weeks of the campaign to secure Champions League football for next season, something that Conte didn’t think was possible when he arrived.

However, despite the success of Conte’s spell in charge so farm there have been doubts throughout his spell that he could leave the club at the end of the season.

The club’s owners invested another £150m into the club earlier this week with the aim to boost the clubs finances on and off the pitch.

Conte is likely to want to improve the squad this summer and the proof of more investment into the club could have been major factor in his decision to stay with the club.

The reports reveals that Paratici has promised Conte six new signings with a back-up goalkeeper, a central defender, two new wing-backs, a midfielder and a left-sided forward all on his wishlist.

The news is also likely be welcomed by talismanic striker Harry Kane, who is reportedly considering entering negotiations with the club, just a year on from admitting he would like to move to Manchester City.
