Juventus striker Dusan Vlahovic has reportedly ‘agreed personal terms’ with Paris Saint-Germain amid links with a move to Tottenham Hotspur.

Spurs were previously linked with the Serbia international prior to his move to Juventus in January 2022. He’s netted 23 goals in his 63 appearances for the Italian giants.

Tottenham have now reignited their interest in Vlahovic as Harry Kane continues to be linked with a move to Bayern Munich.

Bayern boss Thomas Tuchel has made Kane a key target. The German club’s honorary president Uli Hoeness recently said ‘we’ll get him’ in reference to the England international, who is keen on a move to the Bundesliga.

This is despite Tottenham reportedly offering Kane a bumper contract worth a staggering £400,00 per week. As it stands, this contract remains unsigned.

Bayern and Spurs are yet to come to an agreement over a transfer fee. But Tuchel and co remain confident that a deal can be struck this summer.

As a result, Tottenham are on the lookout for a striker who can replace Kane. This will be a difficult task, though, given the 29-year-old is the club’s all time top scorer and netted 30 goals in the Premier League last season.

As reported by Football365, Vlahovic is one player Ange Postecoglou has considered as a potential option.

The 23-year-old is thought to be open to joining a Premier League club and has been linked with Tottenham, Chelsea and Manchester United.

However, it now seems Vlahovic is set to snub Spurs’ interest for Paris Saint-Germain.

This is according to French outlet Foot Mercatowho claim the Serbian has ‘reached an agreement on personal terms with PSG.’

The report states that Vlahovic has agreed on a five-year contract, with a salary of €11m (approx. £9.4m) a year, including goal and appearance bonuses.

PSG, like Tottenham, are in danger of losing their main goal scorer.

Indeed, Kylian Mbappe has just one year remaining on his contract at the Parc des Princes and is reportedly unwilling to sign an extension.

Therefore, PSG could be forced to sell him this summer to avoid losing him on a free transfer at the end of next season. Ironically, this is a carbon copy of Kane’s current situation at Spurs.

This partly explains the French club’s interest in Vlahovic. However, despite reaching an agreement on personal terms with the striker, they are yet to agree a transfer fee with Juventus.

Reports suggest Juve have put a €70m (approx. £60m) price tag on Vlahovic, so it will be interesting to see if PSG match that amount with their opening bid, which is expected in the near future.
