Tottenham set to sign €30m Juventus attacker and Man Utd target ‘edges closer’ to Spurs transfer

According to reports, Tottenham Hotspur are set to sign Dejan Kulusevski from Serie A giants Juventus on a permanent basis for around €30m.
Spurs signed Kulusevski on an 18-month loan deal during the January transfer window in 2022.
The Sweden international enjoyed a superb end to the 2021/22 campaign as he grabbed five goals and eight assists in his 18 Premier League appearances.
Tottenham endured a miserable season in 2022/23 but Kulusevski was arguably one of their better performers. He was involved in ten goals in his 37 appearances across all competitions.
Transfer guru Fabrizio Romano is now reporting that Spurs are ‘closing in on an agreement to sign Kulusevski on a permanent deal from Juventus’.
The initial buy option was €35m but Tottenham have negotiated a ‘€5m discount’ to get him for €30m. He adds.
“Dejan Kulusevski will be announced as a Tottenham player on permanent deal in the next days. Understand contract will be valid until June 2027, already signed,” Romano tweeted.
“€30m deal agreed with Juventus instead of €35m buy option. Here we go soon.”
This is a bonus for Spurs, who are set for a busy transfer window following Ange Postecoglou’s arrival from Scottish champions Celtic.
One of Tottenham’s priorities is to retain Harry Kane as they are reportedly not keen on doing business with Premier League rivals Manchester United.
They are also going to be in the market for a replacement for Hugo Lloris, who will leave Spurs when his contract expires at the end of this month.
Spurs are being heavily linked with Brentford’s David Raya, who is also being eyed by Man Utd.
The London outfit have been considered to be ahead of Man Utd in the race for Raya and Football Insider are now reporting that a ‘deal is edging closer’.

Tottenham are ‘working on a deal’ for Raya and they have ‘already agreed personal terms’ with the Spain international. The report adds.
‘Spurs and Brentford remain apart in their valuation of the shot-stopper.
‘Brentford are holding out for £40million, while the north Londoners are hoping to agree a deal around the £30m mark.
‘Raya, whose contract expires in June 2024, has been closely watched by Spurs’ recruitment team all season.
‘The Spain international’s relatively low wage by Premier League standards will make it difficult for Brentford to keep hold of him.’
