The agent of Christian Eriksen has described links with Manchester as “a compliment” for the Tottenham star.
Eriksen has been in fine form this season, scoring and assisting nine goals each in 34 appearances.
The Denmark international has predictably been linked with moves to either Barcelona or Real Madrid as a result.
But his agent has referred to speculation of a move to United, which we were not aware actually existed until now. Top agenting.
“I don’t comment on rumours much,” Martin Schoots told Danish paper BT. Many thanks to Sport Witness for the translation.
“But when clubs like Real Madrid, Barcelona and Manchester United are mentioned, it’s always a compliment.
“Since Christian was 14 years old, big clubs have shown interest. The first were Chelsea, AC Milan and Barcelona. Since then there has been no transfer window without any offer or interest.
“It is not all clubs known by the press. Christian is not a guy who wants to talk too much. He talks with his feet.”
