Tottenham have reportedly told Vincent Janssen that he can leave the club despite him being one of only two senior strikers at the club.
The Dutchman arrived for £17m last summer but scored only two Premier League goals in a difficult season.
West Brom are among several clubs in England and across the continent who have shown an interest in Janssen, who scored 27 Eredivisie goals in 2015/16.
The Baggies were interested in a double deal – said to be worth around £30m – for Janssen and Kevin Wimmer, but the Austrian has reportedly lost interest in the switch as he does not want ti play left-back.
Wimmer could instead join Crystal Palace, who have been looking for a cheaper alternative to Mamadou Sakho.
