The 19-year-old was left out of the club’s first squad of the Championship season on Saturday with negotiations between Fulham and Tottenham ‘in the final stages’.

And the Daily Mail claims on Monday that ‘barring an unexpected collapse’ a £30m deal will go through before Thursday with Tottenham ‘willing’ to use prospect Onomah ‘as a makeweight in the deal’.

‘Mauricio Pochettino is prepared to let Onomah leave for Craven Cottage to drag the deal over the line’ with Sessegnon making it clear he wants to leave to join Tottenham.

Onomah made one senior appearance for Spurs last campaign and remains a long way from pushing for a place in Pochettino’s starting line-up.
