Toure hails ‘fantastic’ Spurs; expects ‘very angry’ Mourinho

Yaya Toure has warned Manchester City that Jose Mourinho “is going to be very angry” next season.

City sauntered to the Premier League title this season, winning by a record-breaking 19 points.

United finished a distant second, but Toure feels they will be a threat as City look to defend their crown.

The midfielder, who left the Etihad Stadium upon the expiration of his contract this summer, also says Tottenham are a threat.

“Mourinho is going to be very angry,” he told the Manchester Evening News. “Tottenham are a good side. Fantastic.

“Man City can win again – but it depends. The World Cup is on, the players don’t have enough rest and have to come back and play again.

“If they don’t have injuries they can make it – but it’s going to be difficult because next year is going to be a different situation.”
