Liverpool are targeting Ozan Kabak from Schalke while Man United move for a left-back.

Liverpool are not done with their spending. And Man United move for a left-back…

Liverpool have signed Thiago and are close to signing Diogo Jota, but are not done there according to various reports. Transfermarkt claim that their pursuit of a fourth centre-half has led them to look at Ozan Kabak from Schalke as well as Diego Carlos from Sevilla. Kabak is said to be higher up the list because he is a) younger and b) cheaper.

Liverpool’s interest was then confirmed by journalist Chris Williams, who cited a figure of £23m. That number might have taken a bashing by Friday night’s 8-0 thwacking by Bayern Munich which saw Kabak torn to shreds by Robert Lewandowski, Leroy Sane, Serge Gnabry and Thomas Muller.

Manchester United are reported to have agreed a five-year contract with Porto full-back Alex Telles, who was long linked with Chelsea before they plumped for Ben Chilwell. The Brazilian international has just one year left on his contract in Portugal so his fee is likely to be lower than the price Tottenham have given Real Madrid for previous United target Sergio Reguilon.

United will have to move quickly because PSG are also said to be interested in Telles.
