Man City have identified Danny Ings as ‘more attainable’ than Erling Haaland. They’re not wrong…

CITY TARGET PREM STAR AS HAALAND ALTERNATIVE
Manchester City want Erling Haaland. Half of Europe wants Erling Haaland, but City are certainly as well placed as anyone to do a deal for the Borussia Dortmund striker.

However, the Quadruple chasers are making contingencies should Haaland prove too expensive and, according to Sky Sports,  Danny Ings is City’s Plan B.

Ings is approaching the final year of his contract at Southampton and a renewal appears some way off. The England striker has been linked with Tottenham, but City are sniffing now too as they seek a replacement for Sergio Aguero.

Apparently, City see Ings as ‘a more attainable option’ than Haaland. Obvs.

Slipped into the Ings story is a line – literally – about City’s interest in Denis Zakaria.

Pep Guardiola was keen on the Borussia Monchengladbach midfielder last summer and City have continued to monitor the midfielder.

REDS LINKED WITH RAMSEY
The story from Calciomercato on Aaron Ramsey is similarly brief.

The Wales midfielder has endured a forgettable season in Italy, starting only 12 games in Serie A this term.

Ramsey is under contract for another two years but it is claimed the 30-year-old could be returning to the Premier League this summer.

That being true, Ramsey ‘likes’ West Ham and Liverpool, though the chances of them – or anyone else – matching his huge salary at Juve fall somewhere between ‘none’ and ‘f*** all’.

ALABA EYES SPAIN SWITCH
Not much has been heard about David Alaba for a week or so now and we know you have been worried…

So Sky Germany‘s update will doubtless be a great relief. The last we knew of Alaba, PSG were making a huge play for the free agent, who wil be leaving Bayern Munich at the end of his contract.

But PSG’s interest appears to have gone the same way as Chelsea’s. Alaba is said to have rejected the Parisians’ interest and is now focused on joining either Real Madrid or Barcelona.
