SANCHO, SANCHO, SANCHO
‘Manchester United will make a take-it-or-leave it offer of £80m for Jadon Sancho in a bid to land the Borussia Dortmund sensation,’ says the exclusive in the Daily Star. Now whether this is based on some inside knowledge or is just a guess based on the German club’s £100m valuation and United’s reluctance to spend that amount of money is unclear, but it is Sancho, it is Manchester United and it is gossip, so it is our duty to relay it.
Elsewhere, Sky Germany were reporting on Monday night that Sancho is homesick and wants to return home to England. This all seems to be coming together to suggest that Sancho is on his way. Though the nature of a take-it-or-leave it offer is that Dortmund could take it. Or they could leave it.
Jadon Sancho posted this. Notice anything? Three red berries. How many goals did we concede yesterday? Three. He’s joining united, confirmed. 🔴 pic.twitter.com/GuEz5ZxTPn

MAN CITY TO SIGN AKE
Manchester City are close to agreeing a deal to sign Bournemouth defender Nathan Ake for a fee of around £35m, according to The Guardian. And that sounds like a tremendous deal in light of Manchester United’s £80m signing of Harry Maguire.
The Dutchman’s reputation remains relatively untouched by Bournemouth’s impending relegation and at just 25 would be a marvellous investment. It seemed that Ole Gunnar Solskjaer made his own attempt to persuade Ake to join Manchester United instead earlier this month but Ake is instead bound for City. Which could mean John Stones could head to Arsenal.
AND THE REST
Mesut Ozil has turned down a move to Fenerbahce. Of course he has…La Liga side Sevilla are looking making an offer for Chelsea wing-back Marcos Alonso…Southampton are close to announcing the signing of Real Valladolid defender Mohammed Salisu…Burnley are interested in Southampton midfielder Harrison Reed.
