Manchester United want to borrow Neymar from PSG while Liverpool are joining three other Big Six clubs in the race for a Crystal Palace star…

UNITED EYE LOAN DEAL FOR NEYMAR
Is there anyone who thinks signing Neymar would be a good idea for Manchester United? It’s a realistic prospect, according to L’Equipe, who report on how and why the Red Devils are pursuing the Brazil megastar.

PSG are open to selling Neymar this summer, and their fans would happily piggy-back the 31-year-old to whichever club is daft enough to satisfy his whims and urges. Initially it was thought that Neymar would prefer to stay put, but having a few hundred irate Parisiens at his gate seems to have softened his stance on leaving the club.

Apparently, talks with a number of Premier League clubs are being held, and United are said to be in pole position, with Casemiro pushing for his international team-mate’s arrival. The Red Devils would prefer to take Neymar on loan, and though PSG would prefer a permanent move, neither possibility is being ruled out.

We still think it makes more sense for Chelsea.

BAYERN TELL RED DEVILS COST OF SIGNING SABITZER
United need a forward above all else, but Erik ten Hag is also keen to strengthen his midfield, despite signing Casemiro and Christian Eriksen a year ago.

Ten Hag then added Marcel Sabitzer in the January transfer window after Eriksen was expected to be sidelined for three months. United are keen to explore the possibility of signing Sabitzer on a permanent deal following his loan from Bayern Munich and, according to Sky Germany, the Bavarians have informed United of their demands.

United will have to cough up £22million to land the Austrian, who still has two years remaining on his contract at Bayern.

LIVERPOOL GO FOR GUEHI, GVARDIOL
United have also been linked with Marc Guehi, for whom a sizeable queue is beginning to form.

Arsenal and Tottenham have been credited with an interest in the Crystal Palace centre-back, who moved to Selhurst Park from Chelsea for £20million two years ago.

Now the Daily Mail says Liverpool are jostling for position as Palace prepare for a flood of enquires for the £50million England international.

Guehi would be considerably cheaper than Josko Gvardiol, who the Daily Express says remains a target for Jurgen Klopp. Gvardiol could cost closer to £100million, with RB Leipzig reluctant to sell and the Croatia defender in no hurry to leave Germany.
