MAN UTD TO SELL POGBA NEXT SUMMER

It seems that Paul Pogba will finally be granted his wish to leave Manchester United…

The Red Devils’ record signing has never hidden his desire to move on and though United have stubbornly held on to the midfielder in the hope that, one day, he will justify his huge fee, it would appear that even they have given up.

According to Talksport, United are planning to cash in on Pogba next summer with Ole Gunnar Solskjaer now having realised that the France star cannot play in the same team as Bruno Fernandes.

By then, Pogba will be going into the final year of his contract – like the rest of this scarily-good XI – and United will likely have to accept a vastly-reduced figure compared to the prices at which they would have considered doing business over the last couple of summers.

The station’s ‘transfer insider’ Alex Crook says ‘ultimately, he will end up at Real Madrid’. Though, once again, Pogba did himself few favours with a poor performance for France on Tuesday night when, according to Didier Deschamps, they ‘took a slapping’ from Finland.

Pogba might not be the only Manchester United midfielder heading for Spain next summer.

REAL TO MOVE FOR £120M DUO IN JANUARY

If all the rumours are true, then Real will need all of the pennies they saved last summer and more. Because before they even consider a move for Pogba, they apparently have huge plans for January…

RTVE reckons Real will make their moves for Erling Haaland and Eduardo Camavinga early in the New Year, with Dortmund striker Haaland said to be the club’s No.1 target.

The story goes that Real will be willing to offer Dortmund a fee of £67million plus the use of Luka Jovic on loan. For Camavinga, Rennes will demand £53million for the teenager as he enters the last 18 months of his contract.

ITALIAN JOB FOR DEPAY?

Memphis Depay is even closer to becoming a free agent. The Lyon winger can begin talking to suitors from January before having his pick next summer.

The former Manchester United flop has spoken numerous times of a desire to play for Barcelona and they remain the Dutchman’s most likely destination.

But Sport suggests Juventus and Roma are also sniffing around Depay, which could spell trouble for Barca, who have failed to reach an agreement with their current players over a salary reduction amid a ‘serious financial problem’.
