Chelsea target Mykhailo Mudryk celebrates scoring a goal

Chelsea are ‘selling themselves’ to Arsenal target Mykhaylo Mudryk, while Man Utd have ‘agreed’ a deal to bring in a striker on loan…

CONVINCING CHELSEA
Shakhtar Donetsk winger Mykhaylo Mudryk is now ‘torn’ between Arsenal and Chelsea, according to reports.

The Ukraine international has been in impressive form for Shakhtar this season, especially in the Champions League, and he is attracted major interest from the Premier League.

Arsenal have already seen two bids rejected with CBS Sports journalist Ben Jacobs insisting that there latest bid was ‘under €70m’ with Shakhtar still holding out for  under €100m.

And the delay in Arsenal and Shakhtar agreeing a fee has given Chelsea a chance with the Blues recrtuitment team meeting Shakhtar representatives in London earlier this week to discuss a deal.

The main issue for Chelsea are reports that Mudryk would prefer a move to the Emirates over Stamford Bridge but The Sun has now claimed that the 22-year-old is now ‘torn’ between the two Premier League options.

The Blues ‘have offered to outbid any rival offer’ and now Mudryk is ‘split over joining Arsenal or Chelsea’ with the Gunners not keen to overspend on the winger.

Despite looking ‘promising’ in the Premier League for Arsenal this season, with the Gunners five points clear at the top of the Premier League table, Chelsea ‘are selling themselves on a ticket to long-term success and a return to greatness under new owner Todd Boehly’.

MAN UTD STRIKE A DEAL FOR REINFORCEMENTS
Manchester United have ‘agreed a deal’ to bring Vincent Aboubakar to Old Trafford from Saudi Arabian side Al-Nassr, according to reports.

The Cameroon international was brilliant at the World Cup, scoring two goals in three matches as they went out in the group stage of the tournament.

Man United are on the lookout for reinforcements up front in the January transfer window after Cristiano Ronaldo left by mutual consent at the end of November. A controversial interview with Piers Morgan saw Ronaldo’s time at Old Trafford come to an end and now his new Al-Nassr team-mate could be heading in the other direction.

Saudi Arabian outlet Okaz report that Man Utd have ‘agreed a deal’ to take Aboubakar on loan until the end of the season and describe him as the ‘first victim’ of Ronaldo. They insist that the 30-year-old will now decide between a move to United or an unnamed Turkish club, who have also agreed a deal with Al-Nassr.

ZAHA FINALLY ON THE MOVE?
Wilfried Zaha could finally be on the move this summer, according to reports, after years of speculation that he could leave Crystal Palace.

The Ivory Coast international is out of contract in the summer with no sign of a new deal on the horizon and the forward is free to talk to foreign clubs this month.

Speaking ahead of Palace’s FA Cup tie against Southampton on Saturday, Patrick Vieira said of Zaha: “We know the situation and we want to keep him. He’s an important player for the club and he’s loved here.

“We have to wait and see what he will decide to do. What matters is the commitment he is showing in the games.”

The Evening Standard claim that ‘Barcelona and Juventus are casting keen eyes over his situation’ while there is ‘likely’ to be interest from a number of Premier League sides too.
