Three players could leave Arsenal in the coming days as Fabrizio Romano has explained the current state of play regarding the departing stars.

The Gunners have had a solid transfer window up until this point with the additions of Kai Havertz, Jurrien Timber, Declan Rice and David Raya.

While Arsenal are still in the market for a player or two themselves, the current focus is to shift some of their unwanted stars before the deadline.

Two players are now on the verge of leaving the club and a third player is also subject to plenty of interest as things stand.

Romano has confirmed that Nuno Tavares will become a Nottingham Forest player today as he will sign on loan with the option of a permanent deal.

“Arsenal will receive loan fee close to £2m plus £12m buy option clause not mandatory,” Romano explained.

This deal should suit both parties as Tavares will get the chance to impress at a new club and Arsenal could bank a steady profit on the player.

The Gunners signed the 23-year-old for £8m back in 2021 and so they would make a small profit on the player if the deal is turned permanent.

Along with Tavares, Folarin Balogun is also on the verge of an exit with a deal now being in place with AS Monaco.

The transfer saga surrounding the Arsenal forward has dragged on all summer, but it appears as if a final decision over his future has now been made.

“Folarin Balogun will officially sign in as new AS Monaco player today. Medical completed on Tuesday,” Romano explains.

“Arsenal will receive €40m package add-ons included plus sell-on clause.”

The Gunners will make a healthy profit on those two players and an exit for Rob Holding could also be on the cards between now and the end of the window.

Luton Town and Besiktas have both been linked with the Arsenal defender, but Mallorca have now thrown their hat in the ring according to Romano.

“Understand Mallorca have asked for the conditions of Rob Holding deal today — negotiations are ongoing,” the journalist explains.

“Possible solutions in PL remain after Luton Town call on Monday, Mallorca trying to find a way now.”

It seems as if it will be a busy few days at the Emirates as the summer transfer window comes to a conclusion.
