Manchester United, Manchester City and Arsenal have all held talks over a potential move for Monaco defender Fabinho, according to his father.
The Brazilian’s deal runs until 2021 with the Ligue 1 club after extending his contract by two years in September.
The 23-year-old was a reported transfer target for the Red Devils over the summer while Barcelona have apparently “approached” the Brazil international’s representatives over a possible deal.
Joao Roberto Tavares, who is Fabinho’s father, acknowledges United are an attractive prospect and that their neighbours City could have a good chance of landing him if he was to leave France.
“We have been in talks with Manchester United, Manchester City, Arsenal & approached by Barcelona,” Fabinho’s father told French TV show J+1.
“We like Manchester United & Mourinho’s work, but we have a soft spot for Manchester City.”
