Some of Manchester United’s squad have reacted angrily to a wave of negativity from some of the club’s legends, according to reports.

There have been a number of high-profile problems at United this season following their poor start to the season and Jose Mourinho’s apparent poor relations with some of his squad.

Paul Scholes, Gary Neville and Rio Ferdinand have all been particularly vocal about the team’s current on-field issues as regular pundits on television.

And the Daily Mirror claims that some players have reacted by sharing videos around the group  – and with close friends  – of the club legends making mistakes back in their playing days.

The report continues by claiming that the players are particularly upset by accusations that they do not care about the club, while they think some of their comments have been ‘over the top’ and ‘too personal’.

Mourinho has also come in for criticism this season from former players but the Red Devils squad feels that the playes are receiving an unfair share of the blame with the ‘harshest remarks’ reserved for them.
