Crystal Palace manager Patrick Vieira has praised Tottenham Hotspur boss Nuno Espirito Santo ahead of their encounter on Saturday.
Tottenham host Palace in Saturday’s early kick-off and are currently top of the Premier League.
Palace sit 14th after two draws and one loss in their opening fixtures.
And Vieira was quick to praise Nuno for the job he is doing in his early days as Spurs boss.
“I think he is doing fantastically well. When you start in a new club, you’re winning the first three games and you didn’t concede a goal,” he said of his opposite number.
“I think it’s difficult to do better than that. But that will be a really good challenge for us.”
Spurs have the likes of Harry Kane, Lucas Moura and Heung-min Son available, but Palace have new boys Odsonne Edouard and Michael Olise available for the first time this season.
Fellow summer signing Will Hughes is also available and captain Luka Milivojevic is in contention having missed the opening weeks of the season due to personal reasons.
“You know, we went to West Ham in a difficult place and we played with a lot of personality. And tomorrow, the challenges will be the same to play against the team who are top at the moment,” Vieira added.
“We’re playing well. That is a really good challenge. And we’re looking forward to the game tomorrow because we are ready to give them a good game.
“It’s the team that, you know when we look at them play they are really compact. It is a big strength if you lose the ball because they are quite fast, quick on the one v one.
“They’ve got pace with individual talent up front. And we have to be well organised and move the ball quickly, for example.”
The aforementioned Edouard is in contention to make his debut after joining from Celtic in the transfer.
