Wenger ‘angry’ after Wilshere was ‘worked hard’ by England
Arsene Wenger has been left ‘angry’ by what he perceives as England over-working Jack Wilshere to the point of injury.
Wilshere was named in the most recent England squad for the friendlies against Netherlands and Italy, but appeared in neither after suffering a setback in training.
Wenger and Arsenal have expressed ‘concern’ with England over how Wilshere was ‘understood to have been worked hard in training,’ according to the Daily Star.
It is claimed that Gareth Southgate only ‘avoided a flashpoint’ with Wenger as Wilshere is likely to be available for Arsenal against Stoke this weekend.
