West Brom reportedly want £35m for relegated pair Jay Rodriguez and Craig Dawson.

Burnley are said to be preparing a joint bid of £25m for the English pair, who can boast one solitary international cap between them.

According to local newspaper the Express and Star, the Baggies will reject the bid as they value their players much higher.

They claim: ‘It would take a bid of more than £20m to get the Baggies to entertain the idea of selling top scorer Rodriguez, and Dawson is valued between £12-15m.’

It is thought that Rodriguez would relish a return to his hometown club of Burnley, but that his future is intertwined with that of Salomon Rondon, who can leave for £16.5m this summer.

West Brom bought him from Southampton last summer for £12m and clearly believe that six Premier League goals has seen his value almost double.
