West Ham trio Aaron Cresswell, Havard Nordtveit and Jonathan Calleri have all returned to first-team training.

Slaven Bilic is in the midst of an injury crisis, with large swathes of his squad either injured or struggling for match fitness.

That has compounded West Ham’s problems with form and the transition from Upton Park to the London Stadium.

However, the latest fitness update from the head of the club’s medical team will ease Bilic’s worries slightly.

“Aaron Cresswell, Havard Nordtveit and Jonathan Calleri have all returned to full training,” said Stijn Vandenbroucke, West Ham’s head of Medical and Sports Science.

“Gokhan injured his quadriceps in training during the international break and is going to be out for 4-6 weeks.”

Meanwhile, there was also an update on the fitness of Diafra Sakho and Andy Carroll, two strikers who have been injured for a while:

“Diafra Sakho is also undertaking his own pre-season, working very hard on his fitness levels with a view to join the squad on the pitch and that Andy Carroll is continuing his rehab.

“He is working as hard as he can on the pitch and in the gym, making progress. Andy has a few bridges to cross before he can join in first-team training. “
