West Ham are reportedly keen to sign Chelsea flop Tiemoue Bakayoko on a permanent basis in the summer.

The midfielder was signed by the Blues from Monaco for £36million in the summer of 2017, but struggled for form in the Premier League.

He was sent back to Monaco on loan last season, but despite a resurgence in form in Ligue 1, they are unable to offer him a permanent contract.

AC Milan are thought to be interested in again acquiring his services, after a successful loan spell in the 2018/19 season, but West Ham will battle for his services.

Previous reports claimed West Ham were interested in taking the 25-year-old on loan from Stamford Bridge.

But Il Milanista (via Sport Witness) now claim the Hammers want to buy Bakayoko ‘outright’ and can meet his wage demands, which gives them the advantage over the Rossoneri, who have asked the Frenchman to lower his salary request.
