Brendan Rodgers is in talks with Celtic about the vacant manager’s job, according to Sky Sports.
Jim White – who has excellent contacts north of the border – claims that the former Liverpool boss is considering the option of managing in the Scottish Premier League after being out of work since October.
Rodgers is now the odds-on favourite with the bookies, ahead of former manager Neil Lennon and Roy Keane.
The Northern Irishman has previously described Celtic as a “great club”, but this is not what we had in mind when we said we wanted Rodgers back.
