Willian has faced the wrath of Chelsea fans after revealing that Arsenal legend Thierry Henry is one of his idols.

The Brazilian international was part of the Blues side that went down 3-0 to Arsene Wenger’s side in September – the first time they have lost to their London rivals since 2011.

Henry scored an incredible 175 goals in 258 Premier League appearances for the Gunners, meaning he has scored more goals in England’s top-flight than any other foreigner.

And Willian has hailed Henry as “one of the best”.

“For me, in the Premier League, he was one of the best players,” he told the official Premier League website.

“The way he played, he scored so many goals – beautiful goals.”

Only Alan Shearer (260), Wayne Rooney (194), Andy Cole (187) and Frank Lampard (177) have scored more goals in the Premier League than the Frenchman.
