Jack Wilshere’s potential exit from Arsenal is ‘complicated by a loyalty payment the midfielder is due’, according to Sky Sports News.

Wilshere’s Arsenal deal expires at the end of this month and talks have been ongoing about a new deal on reduced terms.

Sky Sports News has been told a potential departure from the Emirates is complicated by a loyalty payment the midfielder is due.’

Wilshere presumably feels that he is due a loyalty payment because he has never asked for a transfer from the club; he has been strongly linked with West Ham and several Serie A clubs.

The Evening Standard report that Wilshere will meet Emery this week as the Spaniard continues to re-shape his squad with three potential news signings in Lucas Torreira, Bernd Leno and Sokratis Papastathopoulos.

It is expected that Lucas Perez will be one player told he can leave the Gunners this summer, while ‘Shkodran Mustafi could also be made available for transfer, with Arsenal’s head of recruitment Sven Mislintat having doubts over the defender’.
