Wolves are reportedly close to the signing of Besiktas central defender Domagoj Vida.
However, Turkish media is now reporting that Wolves are in pole position to sign Vida for a fee of £16m. You can’t fault Besiktas’ efforts in trying to flog him with media leaks.
Sabah say that Vida will be completed before Thursday’s deadline, with Besiktas president Fikret Orman flying to England this week.
Besiktas only signed Vida in January, but are keen to cash in on his fine World Cup. Personally, that doesn’t exactly sell him as a great option.
Another update on Domagoj Vida as Besiktas are reportedly ready to sell the defender to Wolves for €18m. It’s claimed Besiktas president Fikret Orman will now fly to England at the start of next week to finalise the deal with Wolves. (Sabah)#WWFC #TalkingWolves pic.twitter.com/GJYlCqLXnL
