Granit Xhaka has spoken in glowing terms of what Alexis Sanchez is like as a team-mate, despite the Chilean’s impending exit from Arsenal.
Sanchez appears all set to complete a move to Manchester United, with Henrikh Mkhitaryan heading to the Emirates as part of a swap deal.
Xhaka believes Mkhitaryan will be a good fit for Arsenal, but the Switzerland midfielder admits he will be sad to see Sanchez leave.
“We all see that he always gives everything on the pitch,” Xhaka added.
“He wants to win all the time and obviously last season he scored well over 20 goals and this season he is scoring goals as well.
“To be honest he is someone I have got big respect for, he is a very nice guy. He can be serious but he has a playful side too where you can have fun with him.”
