Yet another Barcelona player helps tap up Coutinho

Yet another Barcelona player has joined the chorus of stars calling for Philippe Coutinho to join from Liverpool.

Barca had three bids for Coutinho rejected by Liverpool last summer, with the player himself having a transfer request turned down.

The Spanish club are almost certain to renew their interest in upcoming transfer windows, and Barca have ramped up the speculation in recent weeks.

Andres Iniesta spoke highly of the Brazilian earlier this week, and Ivan Rakitic has become the latest player to call for his signature.

“Every good player is welcome. So we have to say that the doors are open for every good player, and Coutinho is a good player. With all respect to his club Liverpool, and his fans, we would be really happy if he came,” Rakitic told Sky Sports.

“But with all the respect if he stayed at Liverpool we would wish him all the luck in the world. We have to think about the players that are already here, I think we have a really good team.

“We have to do it together. If there is an opportunity to do it with Coutinho, or another player, perfect.”
